Denise Laroque is a fictional character in the BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo!, which ran from 1982 to 1992. She was played by the actress Moira Foot.[1] Laroque appeared in a total of nine episodes, from September to December 1988.[2]
Character biography[]
Laroque is a leader of the Communist Resistance. She captures René and Monsieur LeClerc while they are wearing German outfits, but when she recognises René thanks to the mark on his shoulder - caused by the use of a set of coal tongs during his birth - she lets them go. She then tries to marry René, who was an old sweetheart of hers before the war. With the help of Michelle, Edith replaces Denise at the altar, but Yvette and Mimi replace the priest with Crabtree, making the marriage illegal.
Talents and abilities[]
- Leadership skills: Denise is shown to be an extremely capable leader as shown when she overpowered the Nazis during many skirmishes and during the Battle of Nouvion.
- Combat: Denise Laroque is shown to be a competent warrior.
