Germany is a republic in Central Europe. It was governed by a fascist dictator Adolf Hitler and his political party the nazis from 1933 to the end of world war two in 1945. Germany occupied some or all of France for most of the Second World War, depicted in 'Allo 'Allo!. It was, therefore, the enemy of the french resistance to its rule as well as the allied powers (led by the soviet union, united states and united kingdom).
